January 2006, Grand Forks Taxi became the sole provider of Dial-A-Ride and Senior Rider public transportation services for the City's of Grand Forks and East Grand Forks.
This service is available to all qualified persons.  Our fleet of mini-vans and handicapped accessable vehicles are totally ADA compliant.  We offer standard sized mini-vans for our passengers who are capable of regular service, and we have 5 Chevrolet Uplanders, which have been converted by ENTERVAN for wheelchair access.  Each of the Uplanders are capable of transporting 2-3 wheelchair customers, as well as 2-3 car service customers.

Dial-A-Ride is a federally subsidized program offering affordable transportation to those individuals who have limitations. Rides should be scheduled 24 hours in advance.  Same day service will be as the schedule permits.

The cost of the ride is $2.75, which can be paid by cash or Pre-Paid cards.

The cards are 10 rides for $27.50 or 20 rides for $55.00.  Cards can be purchased from the driver.
